Neal McCoy

Project Details

I couldn’t have been more thrilled when celebrated country artist, Neal McCoy, contacted me to design a re-vamped website, and a CD cover for his new album.
As a singer with a long-standing reputation for being an unbelievably approachable, nice guy, it came as no surprise that Neal and his representatives at Slate Creek Records were incredibly positive, thoughtful and fun people to work with.

Working together with my always-amazing programming partner, Tom Benway, we developed a website for Neal with an entirely new look-and-feel, as well as some big improvements to visitor-flow and overall functionality.

McCoy’s last website was very well executed, visually, and was beautiful to look at, but Neal and and his team wanted something that we easier to update from the road with new tour information, pictures and videos. Keeping in touch with his fans is one of Neal’s top-priorities, so Tom and I wanted to make that a painless, enjoyable process for everyone involved.

With that in mind, I set to work on designing pages that would look fantastic, and tie-in seamlessly with Tom and I’s favorite content-management tool; WordPress. We wanted to make sure the whole thing kicked butt, visually, but our main concern was making it simple for our client to keep the site current from hotel rooms and tour buses
