MI-BOX
Project Details
I’ve been working on-and-off with Greg Fantle at Centennial Storage LTD. for a little over two years now, collaborating with him on a variety of branding efforts — logo design, web, video and photography. We’ve always had a great relationship, so I was psyched when he called to tell me he had recently invested in a Mi-Box Mobile Storage franchise and wanted my help marketing it.
After speaking with Greg quite a bit, and educating myself about the product, it became clear to me that Mi-Box offered a service far superior to their competitors. The problem was, judging from their corporate website, you would never know it — it’s kind of a train wreck. There’s a ton of information, but it’s scattered all over the place, and the local vendors, like Greg, get absolutely buried in the deepest, dankest corners of the domain. It was not going to be an effective sales tool for Greg’s franchise.
We both immediately agreed that if he wanted to reach his customers and make a good impression on them, staking his own claim on the Internet was definitely the way to go.
We wanted to capitalize on Mi-Box’s phenomenal product and stellar reputation, but we also wanted a site that was clean, easy to use, and most of all, let visitors know that despite the national brand, they would be dealing with local experts.
Greg and Centennial Storage LTD. have been serving Colorado for 30 years, and we wanted to make sure all of his potential clients were aware of his dedication to the community, and the decades of knowledge he and his company bring to the table. To that aim, I tried to inform visitors about Mi-Box’s advantages as well as Greg’s local experience where and whenever possible.
In addition to creative direction, graphics and web design, I also provided a good deal of commercial photography, and video production, including cinematography, time-lapse photography, and motion design.
