The ministry wanted to connect with grade-schoolers, toddlers, babies and their parents, so the goal was to create a small site that was simple enough for the youngest audiences, while providing enough entertainment value to engage older kids and parents as well.
Working together with the client, I developed 3 individual themes, each geared toward the appropriate age group.
The site uses a combination of Flash animation and integrated video pieces created in After Effects. Content is pulled in dynamically via a WordPress backend, elegantly developed by my friend and programmatic hero, Tom Benway.
